Compared to its predecessor, the car got new headlights, larger grille radiator and front bumper completely different expressive forms with a large central air intakes and LED lights daylight. In addition, the “charged” sedan appeared aluminum hood, new rear bumper, carbon fiber rear spoiler and 18-inch wheel drives another design.
Novelty continue to be equipped with weather-eight engine of 6.2 liters and power of 457 horsepower, working together with a seven-speed automatic transmission. In Mercedes also claims that, despite the former returns the motor, its fuel economy improved by 10 percent. This indicator has been achieved through the use of another pump power steering, and adding a special regime “Controlled Efficiency” in the PPC.
For Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG will now also available sport package AMG Performance Package. It includes the installation of other pistons, connecting rods and camshafts, which allows the engine to increase power 481 horsepower. In this case, “charged” sedan can accelerate from zero to “hundreds” of 4.4 seconds (wagon – for 4,5 seconds). Maximum speed is electronically limited to 250 kilometers per hour.
Note that the novelty will also receive an upgraded suspension with new stabilizers lateral sustainability. In addition, the car can be ordered optional limited-slip rear differential AMG.
Prices C63 AMG version has not yet been announced.
